Six connected stages turn an architectural brief into a considered lighting scheme. The level of detail and deliverables are agreed around your project's scope.

Brief & discovery
We review the architecture, the people using it and the atmosphere you want to create. Plans, materials, budget and programme establish the priorities before fixtures are selected.

Concept & atmosphere
We develop the balance of ambient, task, accent and decorative light. Mood references and visual studies explore contrast, colour and the character of the space before technical coordination begins.

Calculations & selection
Proposed luminaires are reviewed using real manufacturer photometric files. DIALux studies help assess light levels, distribution and visual comfort alongside optics, finishes and the application requirements.

Coordination & controls
The lighting layout is coordinated with ceilings, joinery, electrical routes and access for maintenance. Switching groups and scene intent connect the design to the way the space will be operated.

Mock-ups & refinement
Where required, samples and mock-ups test the decisions that drawings cannot settle: beam aiming, material appearance, source visibility and dimming behaviour. Review findings feed back into the specification.

Documentation & handover
The agreed scheme is brought together in drawings, schedules and specification information. Aiming, scene-setting and handover notes help the project team carry the design intent into delivery.

Fine light lines follow a ceiling fold, a wall junction or a recessed plane. The detail becomes part of the building rather than another object in the room.
