For UAE landscape applications: garden fixtures require minimum IP65 (jet-proof), pathway bollards IP65-IP66, inground fixtures IP67 (temporary submersion), pool and fountain lights IP68 (continuous submersion rated to 2m+). Dubai's extreme heat (50°C+), high humidity, and occasional sand storms demand fixtures with UV-stabilized housings, marine-grade stainless steel or anodized aluminium construction, and silicone gaskets rather than rubber. Our landscape design process includes: a site survey to map trees, pathways, water features, and architectural elements; a lighting concept plan showing fixture positions and beam angles; 3D visualisation of night-time garden scenes; a detailed specification with IP-rated fixtures, low-voltage (24V DC) transformers, and burial-grade cabling; and on-site aiming sessions at dusk for perfect results. We design for palm tree uplighting, pathway illumination, pool perimeter lighting, BBQ area task lighting, and facade accent from garden level.

Yes, LEDWORLD exclusively specifies low-voltage (12V or 24V DC) systems for landscape lighting near pools and water features, in compliance with UAE electrical safety codes. Low-voltage systems eliminate electrocution risk, allow direct burial of cables, and reduce energy consumption. For submersible applications (pool, fountain, water wall), we use IP68-rated fixtures with isolation transformers. All installations follow IEC 60364-7-702 zone regulations for swimming pools and are certified by Dubai Municipality DEWA standards.

For palm trees, we recommend narrow-beam (8-12°) LED spike lights or inground uplights positioned at the base, angled to graze the trunk and illuminate the crown. For large canopy trees (like Ghaf, Sidr, or Banyan), use wider beams (25-40°) with multiple fixtures to fill the canopy volume.
