HomeWorks QSX is Lutron’s top-tier residential system, designed for whole-home light, shade, appliance and temperature control in residences up to 50,000 sq ft. The system is built from HQP7 processors, each carrying one or two configurable links that the integrator assigns either to a QS wired device link or to a Clear Connect Type A wireless link — so a single project can mix wired architectural keypads and dimming panels with retrofit wireless devices. Up to 16 processors and gateways can be joined into one system, giving a ceiling of 10,000 zones and 32 configurable links. Programming is done in Lutron Designer, and the same Ethernet connection carries third-party integration and processor-to-processor traffic.
