Tridonic is the lighting-technology arm of the Zumtobel Group, based in Dornbirn, Austria, and one of the reference names in LED control gear. LEDWORLD carries the Tridonic driver and lighting-management range for specification work across the UAE and GCC.
About the range
Founded in Dornbirn in 1956 and part of the Zumtobel Group, Tridonic builds the components that sit behind the light: LED drivers, LED modules, sensors, emergency converters and the lighting-management systems that tie them together. Around 1,700 people work on the range worldwide.
For a specifier, Tridonic is usually the answer to a constraint rather than a preference — a driver that has to fit inside a slim profile, hold a flicker-free output at 1% on DALI, survive an IP67 exterior detail, or carry a 5-year system warranty on a project that will be audited. The series naming makes that legible: fixC for fixed output, flexC for current-selectable, one4all for full DALI, EXC for the excite efficiency class.
